1) Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Syslics services—including Shared Hosting, VPS Hosting, Dedicated Servers, server security, backups, optimization, and managed services—you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use our services.

If you are using the services on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

2) Services Overview

Syslics provides managed hosting and infrastructure services such as:

  • Shared Hosting, Managed VPS, Dedicated Servers
  • DDoS protection, firewall/WAF, server hardening, monitoring
  • Control panel services (cPanel/WHM, Plesk, DirectAdmin)
  • Backup & disaster recovery support, web server optimization
  • Application deployment/DevOps support

Service features, limits, and deliverables may vary by plan, order form, or scope of work.

3) Eligibility & Account Responsibility

You must provide accurate account and billing information and keep it updated. You are responsible for:

  • All activity under your account
  • Maintaining secure passwords and access keys
  • Ensuring your users/customers comply with these Terms

You must promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

4) Orders, Provisioning & Changes

  • Provisioning: Service activation timing depends on plan type, verification, and technical requirements.
  • Plan Changes: You may request upgrades/downgrades; changes may affect pricing and resource allocation.
  • Managed Work: If you request system changes, deployments, migrations, or security work, you authorize Syslics to act on your infrastructure as needed to deliver the service.

5) Fees, Billing & Taxes

  • Fees are billed in the currency shown at checkout/order (many plans are listed in USD on the site).
  • You agree to pay all recurring and usage-based charges associated with your plan.
  • Taxes, VAT, or government fees may apply depending on your location and legal requirements.
  • Late payments may result in service suspension.

6) Refunds & Chargebacks

Unless a separate written refund policy or order form states otherwise, fees are non-refundable to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first to resolve the issue, we may suspend your services. We may require you to settle the balance and pay reasonable administrative fees before reinstatement.

7) Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

You may not use Syslics services to host, transmit, or facilitate:

  • Illegal content or activities under applicable laws
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any exploitation content (immediate termination & reporting)
  • Non-consensual sexual content, harassment, threats, hate, or doxxing
  • Malware, botnets, phishing, credential theft, or fraud
  • Unauthorized scanning, exploitation attempts, or DDoS attacks
  • Spam (bulk unsolicited email/messages)
  • Copyright infringement or piracy
  • Crypto-mining that harms service stability or violates your plan limits
  • Any activity that degrades our network, systems, or other customers’ services

We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate services to protect our systems, our customers, and legal compliance.

8) Adult Content & iGaming/Sportsbook Hosting

Syslics offers adult-friendly hosting for legal content and infrastructure for iGaming/sportsbook platforms. 
If you use these services, you agree that:

Adult Content (Legal Only):

  • You will not host content involving minors or any illegal sexual content.
  • You will comply with all applicable age-verification, record-keeping, and consent requirements in your jurisdiction.

iGaming / Casino / Sportsbook:

  • You are solely responsible for licensing, regulatory compliance, geofencing, payments compliance, and local legal restrictions.
  • You will not use Syslics services for illegal gambling operations.

Syslics does not provide legal advice or guarantee that your use case is lawful in your region.

9) Security, Backups & Data Responsibility

We implement reasonable security practices, but no system is 100% secure.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Keep applications, CMS, plugins, and code updated
  • Use strong authentication and least-privilege access
  • Maintain your own copies of critical data where appropriate

Backups
We may offer backup and recovery services (including scheduled backups/offsite options depending on plan). 
However, you remain responsible for verifying backup integrity and ensuring you can restore essential data.

10) Support, Maintenance & Uptime

  • Support coverage and response targets depend on your plan and scope.
  • We may perform maintenance that could impact service availability. Where practical, we’ll provide notice.
  • We aim for stable uptime and monitoring (as described on the site), but any specific SLA must be explicitly stated in your order form or plan documentation.

11) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate services if:

  • You violate these Terms/AUP
  • Payment is overdue
  • Your usage threatens platform stability or security
  • We are required to do so by law or a valid legal request

You may cancel according to your plan’s billing cycle rules. Upon termination, you may lose access to data after a limited retention window (if applicable).

12) Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your content. Syslics retains ownership of its infrastructure, tooling, processes, and documentation.

You grant Syslics a limited right to host, copy, and process your content only as needed to provide the services.

13) Disclaimers

Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Syslics disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Syslics will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim related to the services will not exceed the amount you paid to Syslics for the affected service during the period specified in your order form (or, if not specified, the most recent billing period).

15) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Syslics harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

  • Your content or activities
  • Your violation of laws/regulations
  • Your breach of these Terms
  • Claims by your end-users/customers

16) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland (without regard to conflict-of-law rules). Disputes should first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us. If unresolved, disputes will be handled in the competent courts of Ireland, unless your order form states otherwise.

17) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes become effective when posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
